IIHT Launch

The Indian Institute of Hardware Technology (IIHT), in association with Sikkim Manipal University launched its first graduation program in infrastructure management services (IMS) in Jaipur A post-graduate diploma course in IMS targeted at working professionals was also launched. KIT, Jaipur is among the 50 exclusive countrywide centers chosen by the IIHT for its three-year B.Sc. course in IMS.

IIHT is the first time in the country that any university is offering graduation degree in infrastructure management services. A huge gap between demand and supply exists globally in the IMS field, which comprehensively covers the entire infrastructure support spectrum. The IMS space is said to offer business potential of around $25 billion.

"Around 40% employers worldwide are finding it difficult to fill IMS positions due to lack of suitable talent and around 2 million skilled professionals would be needed worldwide in this field on a year-on-year basis in the coming years.
